The hurst olds of this era were known for the 3 shifters in the console called lightning rods. The lightning rods were an option from hurst where you can shift the car from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd by individual shifters. When you shift these with the individual shifters it accentuates the shift kit put in the transmission by HURST. This car came from out west, and has never been rusted, or rotted.
